Venue Manager – Sports & Leisure Venue
Location: Kent
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000+
An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a large, purpose-built sports and leisure venue. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of venue operations, driving service excellence and profitability.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team across multiple departments.
* Manage budgets, P&L performance, and operational reporting.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
* Maintain a strong floor presence to uphold standards and engage customers.
* Work with marketing and events teams to drive sales and grow the business.
Experience & Attributes
* Proven management experience in a high-volume leisure, hospitality, or sports environment.
* Strong P&L and commercial management skills.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
* Passion for sports or active lifestyles desirable.
