Overview
SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant ready to start your career in education while supporting SEN pupils with Autism and ADHD. Immediate start until July 2026. £81 - £101 per day. 'Good' primary school, Ladywood.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside the SENCo and class teacher to provide tailored support for pupils with Autism and ADHD.
* Scaffold tasks into clear steps, use visual timetables and routines, run short, purposeful group activities, and help pupils regulate and re-engage.
* Note quick wins, share next steps, and keep strategies consistent between home and school.
Requirements
* Degree - 2:2 or above in any subject.
* Communication - Clear, confident verbal and written skills.
* Enhanced DBS - Held already or willingness to obtain.
* Desire to work in education/with children - Genuine interest in SEN, behaviour support and pupil wellbeing.
* Experience working with children - Any relevant experience (SEN support, mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
