SAP Business One Consultant Consultant - Global Transformation Programme
We are currently supporting a global consulting firm in securing an interim associate to support a PE-backed professional services organisation undergoing a significant global transformation programme. The organisation is rolling out SAP B1 Business One across approximately 30 global entities to support the accounting and finance function as part of a wider platform modernisation. The programme is now entering a critical phase and requires an experienced SAP B1 Technical Consultant to help stabilise and support the platform across the business. This is an opportunity to join a large-scale international programme, working with finance and technology teams across Europe, the US and India.
Assignment details
* Initial 6 month contract with strong likelihood of extension
* £650-£800 per day via FCSA Umbrella company
* Primarily remote working with potential occasional travel to the US (West Coast)
* Collaboration across UK, India and US time zones
The SAP Business One Consultant will act as a technical SME for SAP B1 Business One, supporting the ongoing rollout and ensuring the platform operates effectively across the organisation's global entities.
Working closely with Finance and IT leadership, you will help ensure the system is configured correctly, integrations are functioning properly and finance teams are supported through the transformation.
Key responsibilities
* SAP B1 GL configuration including chart of accounts, posting rules and workflows
* Supporting system ownership and governance including user access, security and data integrity
* Managing interfaces with subledgers, CRM, payroll and banking systems
* Supporting upgrades, patches, testing and regression cycles
* Maintaining process documentation and master data standards
* Supporting finance users with troubleshooting and system training
* Working with Finance and IT on the ongoing SAP B1 roadmap
Experience required
* Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One (B1)
* Experience supporting finance systems across multi-entity environments
* Strong understanding of general ledger configuration and finance processes
* Experience with system integrations and financial data flows
* Comfortable operating as a technical SME or system owner
Nice to have
* Experience supporting SAP B1 reporting layers or BI tooling
* Experience working in private equity backed or high-growth organisations
