Commercial Finance Manager
Salary range of £60,000 to £65,000 dependent on experience
40 Hours per week
Shifts are 5 days over 7
This is a Hybrid role with visits to our Colchester and Ipswich hospital sites

What You’ll Do:
* Support operational leads in managing contract complexities and client expectations to achieve optimal outcomes
* Provide expert financial and commercial advice to drive performance and support decision making
* Prepare and deliver timely management accounts and financial reports in line with company deadlines
* Ensure billing mechanisms are correctly applied and facilitate the timely collection of debt
* Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying opportunities and managing risks within contracts
* Supervise and develop site based finance teams, ensuring high engagement and clear communication
* Support process improvements, compliance, and audit activities to enhance financial controls
* Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality finance support
What You Bring:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with post qualification experience
* Proven commercial acumen and negotiation skills gained through experience in dealing with complex contracts
* Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge, influence and support at all levels
* Demonstrable experience in continuous improvement and driving financial performance; the ability to keep focus on day to day performance whilst simultaneously pursuing longer term opportunities
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
* Proficiency in conveying and questioning financial information with non specialists
* Be a key contributor to a strong and motivated finance operational team
* A keen attention to detail
* Experienced Microsoft Office user with a particular strength in Excel modelling
* Proven Healthcare industry experience
* Contract stabilisation
