Our client is a large Accountancy practice based in smaller team within Luton and they are currently seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior. The Accounts & Audit Senior position within the company represents an excellent opportunity for career progression. Ideally, you'll be ACCA or ACA qualified or close to with a minimum of three years of accountancy practice experience working in an audit role.
The role will predominantly focus on leading and delivering statutory year end accounts services to a broad portfolio of clients with 70% accounts and 30% audit split.
The role is reporting to the Director and is offering up to £55,000, 25 days holiday, alongside progression routes and a number of other benefits
Accounts & Audit Senior Job Overview
Managing a portfolio of account clients, ensuring timely submission of financial statements and tax returns.
Preparing year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, charities, and limited companies in line with accounting standards.
Leading client audits through to Partner sign-off, with a focus on governance, internal controls, and financial accuracy.
Preparing and reviewing audit working papers, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Developing strong client relationships and attending client meetings.
Accounts & Audit Senior Job Requirements
ACA or ACCA part qualified preferably
Experience working within a practice carrying out audit work is essential
Broad background and experience of accounts, tax and audit
Full UK driving licence

Salary up to Circa £55,000 per annum
Working Week Monday to Friday
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 17:15pm
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
