Airbus is committed to sustainability and environmental excellence. This placement supports EHS activities across the Filton and Broughton sites, engaging with multi‑functional teams to drive improvements in safety, wellbeing, and sustainability.
What you will be doing:
* Provide support for daily EHS functions and gain experience across the customer base.
* Assist EHS teams in driving improvements and synergies.
* Contribute to the safety management system, exploring leaner ways of working.
* Engage in sustainability, wellbeing, and near‑miss reporting teams.
* Improve EHS communication channels.
* Support the development and use of electronic reporting and monitoring tools.
* Support research, delivery and evaluation of internal communication campaigns.
Requirements
* Undergraduate student studying an Environmental Science, Health, Business, or equivalent degree.
* Good sense of humour or a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving.
* Enthusiastic, driven, confident, and inquisitive.
* Able to work well in a team and take initiative.
* Self‑motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Security Clearance
You will be subject to a BPSS check and may need UK SC‑level clearance or export control clearance, depending on the role. The role requires awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to integrity.

Salary & Working Hours
£23,400 per annum. 35 hours per week, flexible working hours, hybrid working, half‑day Fridays, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
