The Vacancy
Job Title: HVAC Technician
Location: North East Scotland - covering stores in Aberfeldy, Aberdeen, Arbroath, Birkhill, Dundee, Eglin, Forfar, Fraserburgh, Huntly, Inverness, Perth, Peterhead, Portlethen and Tain
Working Hours: 42.5 Hours Per Week
Job Purpose:

Key Accountabilities:
1. Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
2. To respond (promptly and positively) to service call/alarm requests from the central Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary within agreed timescales and response times. Updating the call and job status afterwards.
3. Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets including but not limited to air handling units with gas fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pump systems, single split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.
4. To identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings and to make recommendations to the Line Manager regarding suitable replacement.
5. All completed within our Health, Safety & Environmental policies
Knowledge, Skills + Abilities
6. You will hold recognized Commercial Gas qualifications – you will have at least 4 of the following qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1
7. F Gas (2079) qualified
8. 17th or 18th Edition (Desirable)

9. You will be professional, pleasant, friendly, flexible, courteous and helpful at all times whilst carrying a hands-on, can-do approach to your work
10. A positive approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment (and adapt accordingly), but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service
11. Experience of HVAC /Gas in a multi site environment
12. Full Driving Licence and willing to travel on a daily basis
