Job Description
We are looking for an experienced LGV Mechanic to manage Repairs and maintenence of our 30+ fleet of vehicles. \n For the right candidate this position will offer: \n\* An onsite equipped garage to manage \n Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm \n We are currently seeking an experienced LVG Mechanic. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and a stable weekday working pattern.
\n Key Responsibilities: \n* Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on light commercial vehicles \n* Confidently performing wet and dry belt replacements \n* Stripping and rebuilding engines to a high standard \n* Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs efficiently \n* Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety standards \n* Ensuring Vehicles are cleaned and maintained to a high standard \n Requirements: \n* Proven experience as an LVG Mechanic \n* Strong knowledge of engine strip-downs and rebuilds \n* Confidence with wet and dry belt systems \n* Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n* A methodical approach with good attention to detail \n Ability to source conpetitively priced parts and tools and manage stock of service kits and approved parts. \n Ability to maintain logs of all works carried out. \n Job Types: Full-time, Permanent \n Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year \n Benefits: \n* Company pension \n* Employee discount \n* Free pa...
