The Opportunity
Working alongside vets and registered nurses, the VCA will:
* Prepare consulting rooms, theatre and kennels to the highest hygiene standards
* Handle and restrain dogs, cats and small furries safely for examinations and treatments
* Monitor in‑patients, record observations and provide basic husbandry and comfort care
* Guide clients on routine healthcare, practice services and post‑visit queries
* Maintain stock levels, assist with reception tasks and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere
About You
* Demonstrable passion for animal welfare and client service
* Confident communicator who enjoys teamwork as well as independent tasks
* Calm, organised and physically able to handle animals of all sizes
* Previous experience in a veterinary or animal‑care setting advantageous, but full training provided
* Basic computer literacy and a flexible approach to Saturday working
