Job Description
3. Manage the procurement of materials, goods, and services to meet production and operational requirements.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure best value and quality.
5. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain optimal inventory.
6. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and secure supply.
7. Analyse market trends and identify potential risks or opportunities in the supply chain.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing activities.
9. Generate and maintain accurate procurement reports and documentation.
10. Support the Procurement & Supply Chain team with continuous improvement initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Buyer should have:
11. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
12. Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
13. Ability to analyse data and make informed purchasing decisions.
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
15. Ability to multitask with great attention to detail and organisational skills
16. Ability to read technical drawings is desired but not essential
