Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a Line Leader to join a well-Established team and to contribute to the continued success.
Job Purpose:
As a Line Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production line, ensuring that all manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You will lead a team of skilled production workers, helping them meet production targets while adhering to the highest quality standards and industry regulations. Working closely with the Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage and support a team of production personnel (permanent and temporary) to ensure tasks are completed in line with production schedules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines.

Operational Efficiency: Allocate tasks efficiently, monitor production line performance, and identify areas for improvement to maximise output and minimise downtime.
*
Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks, ensuring products meet company standards. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and other relevant standards.

Training & Development: Onboard and mentor new team members, providing guidance on procedures, safety protocols, and job-specific skills.
*
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any production issues swiftly, escalating to the Supervisor and Engineers as necessary to avoid delays or quality issues.

Documentation & Reporting: Complete required documentation on line performance, production targets, and quality checks. Keep detailed records to track productivity and address any ongoing challenges.

Workplace Safety: Ensure the production area remains clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.

Knowledge of safety regulations and manufacturing procedures

Positive, adaptable approach to change and continuous improvement
*
Previous experience with GMP and Health & Safety standards is highly desirable
