Job Description:
Overview
Responsible for leading process engineering and production support of a product or product line. Provides technical leadership and support for continuous improvement efforts focused on process improvement and optimization. Leads the design, documentation, and implementation of assembly methods, test methods, and equipment operation, including specification and optimization.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
* Resolve production process issues using problem-solving techniques to analyze, identify root causes, develop, and implement solutions.
* Deliver long-term, impactful projects on time and within budget.
* Act as Product Champion for specific products or product lines, leading process engineering and production support activities, providing technical support for process improvements, and supporting continuous improvement teams.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
* Establish Manufacturing Quality Plans, including process flow, floor layout, equipment, and line balancing.
* Write process procedures, change orders, equipment specifications, validation plans, and reports.
* Research technology, equipment, and tooling to improve quality, yield, or cost; generate proposals for purchase and implementation with ROI analysis.
* Design test equipment, fixtures, and tools; perform IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities.
* Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing, collaborating with R&D and suppliers to improve product robustness and manufacturability.
* Supervise personnel as assigned.
* Lead or participate in Lean Six Sigma projects of significant scope and complexity.

Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required:
* B.S. in Engineering with at least 12 years of experience or M.S. with at least 8 years of experience.
* Experience in technical support for manufacturing instrumentation and/or disposables preferred.
* Experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
