Connect Appointments is recruiting an experienced Pipefitter to join our Paisley-based client on a temporary to permanent basis.
Our client is an established business operating within the industrial sector, undertaking fabrication and installation projects across both workshop and site environments.
What's on offer?
* Ongoing temporary to permanent opportunity
* Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4:30pm; Friday, 1400
* 19 per hour (PAYE) or 24 per hour (CIS)
As a Pipefitter, your duties will include:
* Fabricating and installing stainless steel pipe runs in an industrial environment
* Following pipework schematics accurately to specification
* Ability to TIG weld or tac weld beneficial
* Working across both workshop and onsite environments as required
* Adhering to all site health and safety requirements at all times
The ideal Pipefitter will have:
* Proven experience in pipefitting and fabrication of stainless steel pipework
* The ability to read and interpret pipework schematics
* TIG welding, preferred but tack welding considered
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* A proactive, safety-conscious approach to work
