To effectively support process development activities & projects which can include machinery or products, ensure site is fully aware of kit/products and do all the background work needed, Carry out trials and data collection. Also support site projects which include automation, waste and giveaway initiatives. Be customer facing & liaise with customers regarding trial updates and plans.
Responsibilities
* Assist the renovation process of existing projects when introducing upgrades in quality, cost of production and presentation where appropriate
* Ensure that all renovation work is approved by the appropriate channels
* Assist in trials and lead production staff where appropriate
* Involvement in packaging trials as part of the development process
* Support the factory with Giveaway, downgrades and waste through process engineering and also on‑the‑job support and training
* Assist in the delivery of launches from product handover through to launch, meeting all deadlines both internally and externally, ensuring both internal and external gate processes are met
* Assist & lead customer presentations where required
* Assist & lead on external trials when required by the team
* Work on projects between all UKP sites as and when required
* Work with relevant machinery, packaging & ingredient suppliers to ensure that 2 Sisters Food Group are always up to date with the latest innovation
* Assist & lead with special projects
