Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Application Support Officer for our client a local government organisation in Cheshire.
The successful candidate will support an essential team responsible for ensuring the effective operational delivery of the organisation's ERP system as part of a Transactional Shared Service.
The role has a focus on system administration, monitoring performance, maintaining system stability and working through support calls and service requests.
This role is a 2 month initial contract with the possibility to extend.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
* Responsible for ensuring the effective operational support and development of the Unit4 ERP system on behalf of the organisations.
* Manage service requests, escalating system defects and service requests with the 3rd party support contract.
* Provide frontline support of the Unit4 and linked systems including troubleshooting system problems, providing resolution.
* Processing service requests, access/security administration, UAT, and supporting system upgrades.
* Day to day responsibility for monitoring the system performance, support/defect calls and service requests.
* Undertake system administration duties for the Unit4 application.
