What you will do
* Act as the Childrens Guardian in family court proceedings, ensuring childrens welfare and best interests are central to all decisions.
* Carry out comprehensive safeguarding assessments and risk analyses to inform court recommendations.
* Prepare high‑quality Section 7 and Section 37 reports for submission to the court.
* Provide clear, evidence‑based recommendations to judges and contribute to key family court decisions.
* Work directly with children and families to understand their experiences, wishes, and feelings.
* Collaborate effectively with local authorities, legal professionals, and partner agencies.
* Present evidence and professional opinion during court hearings as required.
* Maintain accurate, timely case records in line with organisational and statutory standards.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and statutory frameworks, including the Children Act.
