Join us at Barclays as an Investment Banking Vice President in the Consumer Retail Group Coverage. In this role, you'll take a lead in researching and analyzing the Consumer Retail sector/companies, performing valuations, financial modeling, preparing marketing materials, and transaction documentation. Mergers and Acquisitions will be central, with involvement in both origination and execution of transactions.
To be successful as an Investment Banking Vice President, you'll need:
* Strong M&A and financing skills
* Experience in complex financial modeling, valuation, presentation, due diligence, and financial analysis
* Deal origination experience: generating ideas, preparing presentations, and client follow-up
* Proven client presentation skills, including leading client meetings
* A successful track record of executing transactions in the Consumer Retail Group
Additional valued skills include:
* Experience in Investment Banking within the Consumer Retail Group at VP level
* Understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment
The role is based in Canary Wharf, London.
This position is a Certified role under PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority regulations and may require relevant regulatory qualifications.
