The role:
As a Multi-Skilled Joiner you will complete all repair and improvement work safely, efficiently and to client satisfaction. You’ll communicate effectively with internal office staff, colleagues, managers and customers whilst performing other duties as appropriate to the job level, including providing support to colleagues as directed by your manager. This position suits a highly motivated, enthusiastic person who can work in a fast-paced environment, make decisions and complete tasks using their skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities
* Complete repair and improvement work to client satisfaction and safety standards.
* Communicate effectively with internal staff, managers and customers.
* Provide support to colleagues as directed by your manager.
Right fit / Qualifications
* You’ll be competent in at least two of the following trades (one of which must be joinery):
* Joinery
* Plumbing
* Plastering
* Tiling
* Roofing
* Glazing
* You’ll have an NVQ Level 2 qualification in a core trade or equivalent
* You’ll have a full UK driving licence.
* You’ll possess fantastic teamwork ability and communication skills.
* You’ll have full awareness of relevant H&S requirements.
* Experience of working within a Housing Association environment and managing repairs would be desirable.
