About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Cinema manager in Staines. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a iconic brand at an exciting time within the entertainment industry.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and motivate a team of 30-35 customer assistants and 2 team leaders to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Drive retail sales performance and maximise revenue opportunities through effective team management
- Implement business plans, objectives and KPIs with regular performance reviews and updates
- Monitor customer attendance forecasts and manage staff scheduling accordingly
- Liaise with content teams to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence
- Coach and develop team members, providing regular feedback and supporting career progression
- Manage performance reviews and address any underperformance through structured support plans
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire evacuation procedures, and operational standards
- Support recruitment activities and manage staff costs within budget parameters
- Maintain facility standards and oversee maintenance issues to ensure optimal customer experience
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service with demonstrable results
- Strong business acumen with ability to forecast targets and produce business reports
- Excellent communication and delegation skills
- Strong people management experience including performance reviews, recruitment and payroll
- Proficiency in IT systems (Excel, MS Office) and comfortable with modern technology
- Natural leader who treats colleagues and customers with respect and remains approachable
- Team player who supports colleagues with daily operational tasks
- Genuine passion for the entertainment industry
