Summary Of The Course
The Sales and Marketing Associate Apprentice role is a developmental position within the On-Highway Team. During the apprenticeship, you will work 5 days per week, including 1 day per week for study at Darlington College. The working hours are flexible within the 8am – 5pm timeframe to suit business needs. Upon completion, you will obtain a Level 5 Operations Management qualification.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Handle customer and internal communications professionally and clearly. Attend meetings with customers and stakeholders, contributing to discussions and actions.
* Support the development and delivery of strategic customer proposals.
* Manage, create, and maintain customer relationships and an active pipeline of ongoing projects.
* Assist in providing accurate sales forecasts and financial data through analysis. Consolidate sales data and provide demand forecast inputs.
* Support the development and delivery of strategic customer projects.
* Support market analysis and communicate value propositions.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* At least 5 GCSEs at Level 4 – 9 (Grade A*- C), including Mathematics and English Language.
* Enthusiasm to learn about technology, customer engagement, and various departments within Cummins.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* A passion for business, marketing, engineering, or related fields is advantageous.
