Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Fellow to join the Endourology team with East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The Endourology team is managed by three Consultants and supported by a dedicated Endourology Specialist Nurse. The post-holder will help deliver urology services across two base hospitals in East Sussex, mainly at Eastbourne District General Hospital with satellite outpatient and endoscopy clinics at the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.
The post focuses on endourology and the renal stone service, with a requirement to support the general urology caseload. The service provides flexible ureteroscopy, ultra-mini, mini and standard PCNL, and combined approach procedures, along with an onsite lithotripsy service. There is a robust referral framework including virtual clinics and MDT meetings. The unit has been recognised by GIRFT as outstanding for renal stone management, and there are ongoing projects and a structured mentoring programme for ultrasound and X‑ray guided renal access and complex procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team providing a high‑quality service.
