Job summary

Overall purpose of the job:

1. Reporting to the Head of UK Institutional Business to develop and execute proactive plans to deliver new business within Amundi Institutional division across Insurers, Local Authority Pension Funds and other appropriate growth channels, working both directly with prospective clients and with our investment consultants.
2. Manage a portfolio of prospective new business prospects, ensuring regular engagement and the building of rewarding long-term relationships.
3. Proactively work on identifying prospective new clients with targeted plans and a delivery strategy.
4. Effectively represent Amundis key expertise and strategies to the marketplace.
5. Professionally manage and deliver effective new business presentations at beauty parades and with investment consultants where appropriate.
6. Adhere to FCA rules and principles, Amundi policies and procedures, and follow high standards of conduct. Where appropriate, seek guidance from management or Compliance.

Key outputs:

7. Working closely with the Head of UK Institutional Business to achieve budgeted sales targets by developing new business within:Insurance & Lloyds of LondonLocal Government Pension SchemeCharities & Endowments
8. Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new business.
9. Develop and effectively manage a pipeline of opportunities.
10. Effective and detailed management of the RFI, RFP and finals processes.
11. Structure client-driven solutions involving different divisions of the firm (Portfolio Management, Trading, IT,ESG, etc.)
12. Deliver effective and successful new business presentations at beauty parades.
13. Assist with special marketing, product development or event opportunities as required.
14. Build effective relationships with other team members and broader Amundi colleagues.

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

15. Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., IMC is required)
16. Further professional qualifications, such as CFA, would be highly advantageous.

Experience

Skills, Attributes & Qualifications required:

17. Proven track record in institutional sales or business development, with demonstrable success in winning new mandates and achieving sales targets.
Must have significant direct sales experience within the UK Institutional marketplace.
18. Strong experience in developing commercial relationships with senior decisionmakers, trustees, and consultants.
19. Robust technical knowledge of listed and privatemarket asset classes and their commercial implications for institutional investors.
20. Experience managing RFI/RFP processes and final selection, with the ability to craft persuasive, clientfocused proposals.
21. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and client engagement skills with a clear sales mindset.
22. Proactive, selfstarter attitude with the ability to prioritise, work independently, and drive opportunities through to close.
23. Sound understanding of FCA requirements and experience working within a regulated environment.
24. Strong team player who can help and mentor junior colleagues within the team.
