Job summary – What to expect:
As the Distribution Operator, you will manage one or two basic processes within the distribution department in accordance with company procedures, work instructions, and systems.
Essential functions and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Undertaking basic tasks, under direction of the Team Leader. This could include Picking, Packstation Scanning, Pre-Sort, Machine Over labelling, or fitting set production. Other tasks could include receiving, putting away, and replenishment, assist re-work and cycle counting.
2. Complying with health and safety regulations,including the safe use of equipment (. machinery, lift truck, manual handling equipment) and general good housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
3. Working with company systems
4. Suggesting continuous improvement ideas
5. Some investigation and resolving of issues

What skills and experience should you have?
6. Experience in a large open plan warehouse or factory
7. Knowledge of proper manual handling techniques
8. Ability to lift products and transport throughout the building on cages (up to approx. 25kg)
9. Ability to work at heights
10. Good standard of spoken English and Maths
11. Team player with good social skills
12. Passionate to learn
Work Environment:
13. The immediate work area is a large open plan warehouse with lots of moving equipment and team members in close proximity.
14. Personal Protective Equipment must be worn. all hair covered, no make-up and no heels
15. The work is physically demanding and a significant proportion of the shift will require the member of staff to stand and be active.
16. Some of our work areas have a high level of noise from the operations of various machinery. Where this is above prescribed limits, PPE is supplied and must be worn at all times.
