Ayan Capital is an FCA-authorised direct lender focused on building ethical consumer finance products in the UK.
Our car finance product is live and scaling, and we’re expanding into new products — including cards and beyond.
We’re hiring a Junior Product Manager to support product development across the business. This is a generalist role designed for someone early in their product career who wants real ownership, exposure, and growth. You’ll work across both improving what’s live today and helping shape what we build next.
What You’ll Do
• Support the development and improvement of Ayan’s core products
• Work with senior product and engineering to define, scope, and ship product changes
• Analyse product performance data to identify friction, drop-offs, and opportunities
• Help run experiments to improve conversion, approval rates, and customer experience
• Contribute to designing customer journeys
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Underwriting, Compliance, Growth, and Operations
• Support product discovery for new initiatives
• Help maintain and prioritise the product backlog
What We’re Looking For
• 0–2 years of experience in product, operations, consulting, analytics, or a similar role
• Strong problem-solving and structured thinking
• Comfortable working with data (basic analysis, funnels, metrics)
• Clear communicator
• Curious and proactive
• Relentless bias for action
• Motivated to learn how products are built end-to-end
Nice to Have
• Exposure to product management (internship, junior role, or side projects)
• Experience with tools like SQL, Metabase, Figma, Lovable or similar
• Understanding of customer journeys or digital products
• Interest in ethical or Islamic finance
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience
