Brockenhurst College are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Electrical Installation on a full-time, permanent basis to join our fantastic team at ourMarchwood site. In return,you will receive a competitive salary of £41,227 - £42,434 per annum. (Unqualified teachers £25,297 to £31,930 pro rata per annum.)
We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.
The Role:
As our Lecturer in Electrical Installation, you will continually improve the learning experience and achievement of students through effective teaching and learning.
Responsibilities as our Lecturer in Electrical Installation will include:
1. Teach and assess on a range of courses as agreed with the Head of Marchwood and/or relevant College managers.
2. Undertake the role of Personal Tutor to students.
3. Prepare and assess student work, monitor progress towards individual targets, keep records and provide timely reports/reviews to learners, parents, employers, and College managers, as appropriate.
4. Collaborate closely with other colleagues to respond to the needs of students.
5. Contribute to the design, delivery and future planning and development of the curriculum.
