About the Role:
Are you ready to lead efficiency and innovation in plant operations? As an SSP (Continuous Improvement) Specialist, you'll be at the heart of process analysis, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous advancement. You’ll collaborate on the development and implementation of the Plant Master Plan, ensuring seamless calibration and execution. Your expertise will fuel production system enhancements, helping to streamline workflows and maximise output.
If you thrive on problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and achieving tangible results, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.
Main Responsibilities:
As the driving force behind plant optimisation, you will champion the Ferrero Operational eXcellence (FOX) program, ensuring its presence and consistency throughout the plant. You’ll lead training initiatives, promoting continuous improvement techniques, fostering effective communication, and ensuring the organisation of impactful learning sessions. Your role will be instrumental in tracking the success of initiatives, verifying their sustainability, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across operations.
You will analyse data to identify key development opportunities, enabling the widespread adoption of excellence solutions across departments. Through collaboration, you'll uncover breakthrough improvements in workflows, technology, and equipment. Additionally, you'll oversee the collection of new ideas from plant resources, using the best methods and tools to analyse, promote, and implement fresh innovations.
As a problem solver, you will support teams in diagnosing root causes and implementing effective solutions using specific techniques and tools. Your keen eye for progress will ensure ongoing monitoring of projects, identifying challenges, and setting proactive recovery plans. You'll also drive the local continuous improvement process (MiCo), managing idea analysis, solution implementation, and cost-benefit evaluations to enhance efficiency.
Beyond continuous improvement, you will coordinate cross-functional projects, leading change management efforts and implementing improvement ideas outside of dedicated CI programs. You will also support the SSP Manager, assisting in process analysis, identifying improvement areas, and ensuring successful follow-up and implementation of initiatives.
Who we are looking for:
To excel in this role, you’ll bring expertise in Continuous Improvement and Lean Tools, driving efficiency and innovation across plant operations. Your ability to engage colleagues will foster a collaborative environment, empowering teams to embrace change and adopt best practices.
Strong communication skills will be key in articulating strategies, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring seamless knowledge sharing. Additionally, your stakeholder management skills will enable you to navigate cross-functional relationships, ensuring alignment and commitment to improvement initiatives.
Experience in Project Management or PMO will enhance your ability to oversee initiatives, coordinate teams, and execute projects with precision. A Lean Six Sigma qualification will further strengthen your problem-solving capabilities, equipping you with structured methodologies for process optimisation.
Knowledge of data analysis will be an asset, enabling you to extract insights, track performance, and make informed decisions to drive impactful results.
