Paralegal - Plot Sales

Join an award-winning Property department at a leading law firm in the south of England. We are seeking a talented Paralegal to enhance the Plot Sales team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in property law and a desire to work in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Pre-exchange Tasks:
o Prepare contract packs and send them to buyer’s solicitors.
o Handle enquiries and maintain a set of precedent replies to enquiries on each development.
o Constant liaison with the developer client’s representative to keep them updated.
* Exchange of Contracts (under supervision):
o Liaise with clients regarding completion dates.
o Notify clients, selling agents, and lenders when exchanges take place.
o Produce completion statements for both the buyer and the client.
* Completion Tasks:
o Coordinate with lenders to meet their completion requirements.
o Ensure all necessary documentation is signed by the client and sent to the buyer.
o Confirm completion to the selling agent and settle their commission.
o Manage file closure procedures efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and a high-volume caseload.
* Good attention to detail.
* Proficient IT and keyboard skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong teamwork capabilities.
* Previous experience in residential conveyancing or plot sales is desirable but not essential.
