AJ Chambers are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Residential Paralegal to join a top legal 500 law firm. As a Residential Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting the Residential Property Department with a range of tasks, including conducting property searches, drafting contracts, liaising with clients, and assisting with the completion of property transactions.
Responsibilities
* Conduct property searches, including Land Registry and local authority searches
* Draft contracts and other legal documents
* Liaise with clients and third-party professionals, such as surveyors and mortgage lenders
* Manage case files, including preparing completion statements and dealing with post-completion matters
* Assist with the completion of property transactions, including dealing with Stamp Duty Land Tax and Land Registry registration
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Residential Paralegal
* Strong knowledge of residential property transactions and relevant legislation
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
