Job Description:
The Relationship Development Partner will build and maintain excellent relationships and partnerships across the health and social care community to increase enquiry volumes, thereby giving homes a choice of admissions.
A critical role within the organisation, you will help support the NHS with hospital discharges and other stakeholders with community placements by identifying and promoting care homes that can meet the care needs of NHS patients or those living in the community requiring long or short-term care.
You will provide support to Care Home Managers to ensure a high level of awareness and that the Care Homes profile exists amongst key health and social care stakeholders and the local community. You will attend and present at meetings held at Group and Area levels to outline results achieved and best practices.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week. It is a hybrid position with 3 days a week at our support office in Glasgow and 2 days remote working from home.
Candidates should have a good standard of GCSE English and Maths, excellent communication skills, experience dealing with professional stakeholders, and the ability to develop strong relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Previous experience in the care home sector and client liaison in a soft sales environment, ideally B2B sales, is preferred.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. Attendance at safeguarding training and additional role-specific training is mandatory. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
