ROLE OVERVIEW The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager will be the sourcing lead for all directly procured components of our charging facilities (Hubs/ eHGV/ Forecourts). They will focus on demand planning and supplier management to ensure the efficient procurement and timely delivery of components, raw materials, and services. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Lead end-to-end procurement activities for all direct components. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance, quality, cost, and delivery standards are met. Work closely with Development, Delivery, Operations, and Product teams to align procurement with project requirements. Optimize inventory levels by implementing efficient stock control systems, conducting regular audits, and utilizing data analytics to forecast demand accurately. Forecast demand for all direct components and materials, ensuring alignment with production schedules and market needs. Coordinate and manage supplier schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, minimizing disruptions to the supply chain. Create clear and structured work instructions for procurement and inventory management. Act as a gateway to call off accuracy, ensuring all components are called off correctly and in line with secured demand. Develop accurate reporting mechanisms to track procurement and inventory performance. Standardise supplier schedules to improve predictability and supply chain coordination. Monitor market trends, conduct supplier risk assessments, and identify alternative sourcing solutions. PERSON SPECIFICATION Required experience 5 years of procurement and supply chain experience, preferably in the manufacturing, automotive or EV charging industry. Required skills and abilities Strong business acumen demonstrated through understanding of how a business functions, including the relationship between the company’s financial results and its key performance indicators. Advanced planning/organisational/time management skills including in-depth knowledge of project scheduling tools and methodologies e.g. Gantt Chart and the Critical Path Method. Social and collaboration - the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a remote, fast-paced and dynamic environment. Communication - including verbal, written, and presentational Strong numerical and analytical skills with proven ability to track metrics, analyze performance and provide reports and insights. Problem-solving skills - ability to proactively manage risk foreseeing and adapting to any potential program threats before they arise, as well as after. Adaptability - handles pressure well under tight deadlines and is fully adaptable to continuously program redirection/slippage as well as changing business needs. Required qualifications and certifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
