Ref: 001070 Teaching Assistant - Level 3 Contract : Fixed Term with a view to be made permanent Hours: Part time- 25 Hours (4 days per week) Start Date: Asap Salary: 28,598 - 31,022 (actual salary: 16,252 - 17,629 per annum - Grade 4) The successful candidate will: Be a committed and compassionate professional; sympathetic to the Christian ethos of the school Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to their professional position. Be able to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under supervision. Have experience of working with children with SEND Have experience of teaching phonics Be able to work with the teacher to contribute to learning activities and lesson planning. This may include planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals and groups. Be willing to support or lead classes according to the school s need. Be an effective team member with very high expectations of themselves and all learners. Be an effective communicator able to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders, especially parents. Be an excellent role model with strong organisational skills. Understand the need for confidentiality both inside and outside of school.
