Job Description
Outwood Primary Academy Newstead Green is seeking a committed individual to work as a Midday Supervisor within the Academy. The role ensures the security, safety, well‑being and care of children during lunchtime, and promotes their social, emotional and physical development when outside the classroom.
Working Pattern
This is a temporary post with working hours 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the safety and well‑being of children during lunchtime.
* Monitor children during recess and supervise them while outside the classroom.
* Provide support to staff and respond to any emergencies.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should demonstrate experience working with young children, a commitment to child safety, and the ability to act in a supportive role during lunchtime. All shortlisted candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and checks regarding suitability to work with children.
