About the Role
The Hygiene Team Leader (Nights) will lead a team of 40 operatives, overseeing hygiene operations and ensuring the site meets food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the night shift hygiene team (40 operatives)
* Ensure cleaning tasks meet safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
* Conduct audits and monitor team performance to maintain cleanliness
* Provide hands-on leadership, ensuring safe working practices and high standards of cleanliness
* Collaborate with the Night Hygiene Manager to resolve any issues promptly
About You
This role is perfect for a dynamic, hands-on manager with experience in high-pressure environments and a strong background in hygiene and cleaning operations.
Key Skills
* Proven experience in managing teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
* Strong knowledge of hygiene practices and cleaning technologies
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to handle complex operations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety
* Level 3 Food Safety and Level 3 Health & Safety qualifications are desirable but not essential
Working Hours
* 6pm - 5am, 7-day fortnight
* Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
* Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
