A successful firm in modern offices in Derby are seeking to recruit into a key payroll position, which also involves aspects of bookkeeping. You will be the main point of contact for all payrolls, with assistance from members of the accountancy team. They are open on the level of hire, so anyone from Semi Senior up to Senior/Manager level is encouraged to apply.
The firm are located within a commutable distance from Derby, Long Eaton, Ilkeston, and Little Eaton.
Main Duties include:
Payroll:
Processing weekly, fortnightly, four weekly and monthly payrolls. Liaising with HMRC.
Dealing with client queries via telephone and emails, P11Ds
Pension Enrolment
Calculating statutory payments
Setting up new clients on Sage 50 Payroll
Bookkeeping:
Bookkeeping – Sales and Purchase ledger postings, Bank receipts and Payments, Bank Reconciliations
Dealing with Cash payments/Receipts
Dealing with Credit Card account postings and reconciliations.
Posting of wages journals
Dealing with other general journals and transfers
Usings QuickBooks, Xero and Sage Software
Preparing VAT Returns
