We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Quality Assurance Operative to join their Packing Centre Based in Chippenham. As a Quality Assurance Operative, you will play a vital role in supporting the quality improvement and "right-first-time" agenda, ensuring products are legally manufactured and compliant with customer specifications. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will foster a culture of quality and safety awareness throughout the production process to uphold product excellence.

Role & Responsibilities:
Maintain elements of the quality system to meet the requirements of company practices, codes of practice, and customer protocols.
Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all component specifications, product specifications, and the QA and HACCP Manual.
Conduct checks of products as outlined in the QA manual.
Review, check, and sign off records.
Assist with investigating complaints and quality failures, recommending corrective actions and preventative measures.
Perform in-depth checks of packing materials and finished products when requested by the QA team and produce detailed reports.
Audit sections of the Quality Management System to ensure compliance, reporting any non-conformances.

Qualifications / Experience:
Previous experience working within Quality Assurance, ideally in food manufacturing.
Understanding of HACCP.
Food Safety Level 2 qualification (desirable).
Pay rate / Hours
Salary: £27,388 to £28,962
Working Hours: Either Monday-Friday 1800-0200 or 4 on 4 off, 0600 to 1800.
