Location - Balmaclellan, Catterick Village
The charity is seeking to recruit Support Workers to assist in providing 24-hour care and support to adults with learning and physical disabilities. The role of the Support Worker is to enable each person using the service to lead a fulfilling and independent life according to individual needs and choices.
Essential Criteria:
1. An ability to demonstrate the core values of the Charity
2. NVQ2 in care (or willingness to attain)
3. Ability to respond to guidance and direction
4. Experience of working with vulnerable adults
5. Experience of developing personal care plans
6. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
7. Able to provide personal care
8. Able to work flexible hours and sleep-ins
9. Participate where necessary in social activities, outings/holidays with people using the service
10. Maintain confidentiality, honesty, and reliability
11. Non-discriminatory and respect for cultural and religious heritage of all people
