Inspire. Lead. Transform Lives.

Are you an experienced Registered Childrens Manager with a deep understanding of trauma-informed practice and a genuine commitment to helping children heal, grow, and thrive?

At NW Care Group, we are seeking passionate, skilled, and resilient leaders to manage our nurturing residential homes for children aged 7–17. This is more than a management role — it's an opportunity to shape futures and lead a team driven by empathy, integrity, and hope.

About NW Care Group

NW Care Group is dedicated to creating safe, loving, and therapeutic homes for children and young people with complex backgrounds and diverse emotional needs.

We believe in the power of understanding, connection, and stability — providing each child with the foundations they need to rebuild trust, discover their strengths, and move forward with confidence.

Every decision we make begins with one question: What's best for the child?

Your Role

As a Registered Home Manager, you'll lead by example — combining your strong operational oversight with warmth, creativity, and compassion. You'll cultivate a positive team culture where children feel safe, staff feel supported, and excellence is the standard.

You will:

* Provide inspirational leadership to your team, ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism.
* Embed trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches in daily practice.
* Develop and review individualised care plans that place each child's voice and needs at the centre.
* Drive compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations, ensuring quality and safeguarding are never compromised.
* Lead audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage budgets effectively while focusing on the wellbeing and progress of every young person.
* Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community to support positive outcomes.

About You

You are a confident, caring leader with a proven track record of success in children's residential care. You bring calm, structure, and heart to challenging situations — and you're motivated by making a genuine difference.

What we hope you will bring:

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Services (or working towards).
* Minimum 2 years' management experience in a children's residential or social care setting.
* A strong understanding of trauma, attachment, and child development.
* Excellent safeguarding knowledge and crisis management skills.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and emotional intelligence.

Why Join NW Care Group?

We know that great care starts with great people. That's why we invest in you — your wellbeing, your growth, and your sense of purpose.

We offer:

* Comprehensive paid induction and ongoing CPD programme.
* Performance-related bonuses (£5,000 for 'Good', £10,000 for 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings).
* Employee recognition awards, including Service Milestones and "Outstanding Service" rewards.
* Blue Light Card (first year paid).
* Pension and generous holiday scheme (with extra days for long service).
* Free gym membership and wellbeing support.
* A genuine pathway for progression to Senior Management roles.
