We currently have a permanent vacancy in Lindsay House Care Home, Lumphinnans.
Assistant Cook – 33.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, on a 52- week contract, Enhancements are paid for hours worked at weekends.
Duties may include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround and equipment.
Completing required paperwork including electronic returns.
You will earn a competitive salary of £25,604.23 pro-rataand have access to a range of benefits, including:

The Person
Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent is required.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
