An award-winning digital agency is seeking a Digital Developer to join its growing team in Cambridge. Working within a collaborative digital department inside a larger business, you’ll help deliver high-quality websites and digital products for a broad range of clients.
This is a hands-on full-stack role suited to someone who enjoys variety - from building new features and maintaining CMS platforms to supporting clients and contributing to digital strategy.
Location: Cambridgeshire (Hybrid – 1–2 days per week in office)

Salary: £50,000
The Role
As a Digital Developer, you will work closely with fellow developers and the wider digital team to design, build, and maintain websites and digital projects including emails, newsletters, and online publications.
You’ll be responsible for writing clean, standards-compliant code while ensuring performance, usability, and cross-device compatibility. At the same time, you’ll help uphold the team’s reputation for delivering responsive, high-quality digital solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Developing new website features and functionality.
* Maintaining and updating CMS platforms, primarily WordPress and Drupal.
* Ensuring cross-platform and cross-device compatibility.
* Testing changes thoroughly before deployment.
* Supporting clients and internal teams with updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
* Contributing ideas and technical insight during project planning.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Strong full-stack development capabilities.
* Commercial experience using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL, and Git.
* Good working knowledge of WordPress and Drupal.
* Experience with automated deployment systems.
* Understanding of DNS configurations and CDNs.
* Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
