We are a friendly Bed & Breakfast in Plymouth, offering temporary accommodation for families and individuals through the local authority, as well as hosting tourists and workers.
The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated live-in cleaner/caretaker to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual or can be shared between two people. Part-time options are also available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve a light breakfast to guests, ensuring food hygiene standards are met.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas, including guest rooms, kitchen, dining spaces and public areas.
Manage laundry and ironing; keep storage areas organised and tidy.
Cover guest check-ins and provide exceptional guest care in the absence of other employees.
Offer emergency overnight cover (rarely required) while having your own private space to relax and sleep.
Assist with maintenance tasks, decoration, gardening and minor repairs as needed.

Skills in basic maintenance and health & safety awareness (advantageous).

Full-time: Up to £27,000 per year, with bonuses and pension.
