Hours: 8am - 4pm with an early finish on Friday's
My client are looking for a passionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting autistic children and young people to develop their communication, independence, and life skills.
About the Role
Manage a specialist caseload of autistic pupils.
Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions
* Support and implement AAC systems and total communication approaches
* Collaborate with teachers, families, and professionals on EHCPs and learning plans
* Provide training and guidance to staff and parents
* Contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Recognised Speech & Language Therapy qualification- HCPC registration (essential)
Required Skills
* Experience working with children/young people with autism
* Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
* A collaborative, empathetic, and proactive approach
