Location: Head Office, The Park Hotel, Barnstaple. EX32 9AE

What will I be doing?
* Checking the number of hours employees have worked.
* Calculating wages and salaries.
* Entering data into payroll software.
* Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data.
* Calculating pay raises, holiday pay, shift payments and overtime compensation.
* Issuing tax forms and related documentation, and assisting employees to complete them.
* Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters.
* Changing employee bank records when necessary to process payments accurately.
* Initiating direct deposits.
* Accurately inputting employee data, hours, and changes (starters, leavers, pay changes) into payroll systems.
What are we looking for?
* Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Critical for payroll.
* Numerical & IT Skills: Experience and proficiency in payroll software, MS Office. This is essential for all applicants.
* Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to interact with staff.
* Organisation & Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of payroll regulations and data protection.
