Hourly rate: £. per hour, plus p p/h weekend enhancement
Hours: hours per week
Shifts: 8.am to 6.pm, 4 shifts over 7 days (flexibility required to work weekends)

About the role:
11. Distribute to and collect crockery from the residents
12. Assist in washing crockery, cutlery, cooking and serving utensils and kitchen equipment
13. Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with COSHH regulations
14. Ensuring that all health and safety guidelines are strictly followed
15. Carry out any reasonable request or instruction from the Home Manager or Head Chef
16. Accept and process kitchen deliveries, ensuring correct storage and inventory rotation
17. Support with the preparation of meals
18. Work closely with care staff to accommodate residents’ individual meal preferences
About you:
19. The right to live and work in the UK
20. Previous experience of working in a similar position is essential to be successful
21. Previous experience in a care home environment is ideal, however candidates with a hotel/restaurant background are also encouraged to apply
22. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
23. Ability to work in a team, a caring nature and a positive attitude
24. An understanding of Health and Safety, Infection Control and COSHH
