Teaching Assistant – Level 3

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Accrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a primary setting.
Working alongside teachers and other support staff, you will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning across the classroom, working with individuals and small groups
* Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities
* Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, as required
* Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ emotional wellbeing
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
* A good understanding of the National Curriculum
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
