Senior SysAdmin: Migrate High-Traffic BuddyBoss Site + 9 Apps to Hetzner (Performance Stack: MariaDB/Redis/Nginx) + Email Fix
Hello, I am looking for a high-level Technical Lead to migrate my entire business infrastructure from Cloudways to Hetzner Cloud. I need a "Netflix-fast" performance setup for my membership site.
The Stack to Migrate:
Main Site: WordPress + BuddyBoss + LearnDash (High Traffic ~15k users). This is the priority.
Blog: WordPress (High SEO stakes).
Other Apps: FreeScout, Suite CRM, etc. (Total ~10 apps).
Scope of Work:
Server Setup (Hetzner):
Provision a Hetzner Cloud CPX31 (or equivalent with min 8GB RAM).
Install CloudPanel (or similar lightweight panel).
CRITICAL PERFORMANCE STACK:
Web Server: Nginx (optimized for high concurrency) OR OpenLiteSpeed.
Database: MariaDB Must be tuned for InnoDB performance).
Caching: Install and configure REDIS at the server level. Connect it to WordPress using Object Cache Pro.
Configure PHP-FPM with separate pools/limits for the critical apps to prevent one app from crashing the others.
Email Strategy (Migration from Cloudways/Rackspace):
Migrate emails to Zoho Mail (IMAP/Storage).
Setup Amazon SES for transactional emails (SMTP) to ensure 100% deliverability.
Verify all DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
ERPNext Automation (Frappe Cloud):
Setup Server Scripts/Webhooks on our Private Bench ($25/mo plan) to automate invoice generation from ThriveCart/Stripe.
Requirements:
You must understand why MariaDB + Redis is non-negotiable for BuddyBoss performance.
Experience with CloudPanel on Hetzner.
Ability to fine-tune pm.max_children and Redis eviction policies.
