Key Responsibilities: Preparation of year-end accounts for a diverse range of clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies).
Production of corporation tax and personal tax returns.
Managing and maintaining client relationships, acting as a first point of contact for queries.
Supporting clients with cloud accounting queries (primarily Xero).
Working collaboratively within a small, supportive team environment.
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and practice procedures.
Contributing to workflow improvements and supporting the ongoing growth of the practice.
Essential Requirements: Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
Strong working knowledge of Xero.
Demonstrable experience producing year-end accounts and tax returns.
Excellent communication skills and confidence in a client-facing role.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently within a small team.
Desirable: Experience using IRIS accountancy software.
AAT-qualified, part-qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience.
Knowledge of other cloud accounting platforms.
