Subject to formal establishment, a vacancy will arise for a OF3 to serve as SO2 Capability Integration at DMS Whittington on FTRS (Home Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 01 Feb 26. Unit Function: CORTISONE Programme Office. Responsible for the delivery of the next generation of medical information services (Med IS) to Defence. Position Role: The staff officer provides programme support, with specific responsibilities for Capability Integration (CI) across the CORTISONE programme-space (drawing together, synchronising and cross-coordinating DLODs), Doctrine and Concept DLOD support, interoperability with partners, experimentation/de-risking activity (to develop programme level thinking and direction of travel), and the coordination of security accreditation Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate capability integration (CI) activity across the programme-space in support of the Capability Integration Working Group (CIWG) chair, acting as secretary and deputy chair for the CIWG. Ensure that CI is effectively briefed at Programme Board level. 2. Working with DLOD Owners, plan DLOD related activity, coordinating cross-DLOD synchronisation as required. On behalf of SRO, ensure that DLOD owners are fulfilling their responsibilities. Identify and manage CI related risks and articulate these through the programme’s risk management processes to Programme Board as required. Under direction of SO1 Deputy Prog Mgr, provide Doctrine & Concepts DLOD support, acting as the principal desk officer for the development and staffing of CONEMPs, CONUSE, etc. Lead and coordinate interoperability development with NHS, NATO and broader national and international partners, acting as the Interoperability DLOD Lead for CORTISONE. Lead and coordinate experimentation and de-risking activity across the programme-space, utilising capacity and opportunity in DMS, DD, broader MOD, NATO and other organisations as required to achieve outputs. Represent Programme CORTISONE at Med IS-related meetings, WGs, panels, events, conferences (including those operating under NATO auspices) as directed by SO1 Deputy Prog Mgr, iot further develop interoperability, experimentation and de-risking. Act as lead desk officer for the coordination of security accreditation matters for the programme. Other duties deemed reasonable by 1RO.
