Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Site Location: Swish (Part of the Epwin Group), Tamworth, B79 7TF
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Hours of Work: Mon-Fri days (40 hrs per week)
Job Purpose:
Epwin Group is one of the UK’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of PVC windows, doors and fascia systems with some of the best-known manufacturing and service names in the sector. Group businesses also produce high quality cladding, guttering, decking and prefabricated GRP building components.
As a fully trained maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Assist in all preventative, predictive and routine maintenance work
2. Identify and ensure critical spares are stocked and reordered
3. Co-ordinate with suppliers to supply spare parts for machines
4. Carry out TPM schedules
5. Carry out the maintenance of production machines & building repairs, electrically and mechanically
6. Identifying and liaise with suppliers of maintenance services when required
7. Investigating maintenance problems affecting production and identify improvements
8. Maintain and record work and machine breakdown history
9. Work to maintenance budget
