Join our friendly, forward-thinking team at a 3-branch small animal practice based on the outskirts of beautiful Edinburgh. We’re currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us at our Penicuik branch on a part-time permanent basis.
About the practice
Our practice is well equipped with digital x-rays, dental x-rays and ultrasound. We offer laparoscopic spays and orthopaedic surgeries at our main surgery in Musselburgh. Client and patient care are our main focus and we do that by offering a friendly and supportive environment to work in. We are a nurse training practice and have the tools in place to develop our nursing team.
About the role
* Patient care post op and day hospitalisation
* General anaesthetic and sedation preparation and monitoring
* Surgical prep of operation rooms and patients
* Laboratory duties
* Infection control
* Care and maintenance of equipment
* Nurse consultations
This is a part-time permanent role working 27.5 hours per week (hours can be negotiated). The shifts will be on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 8:30am-7:00pm in line with our work life balance ethos.
About you
We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who values teamwork and is committed to delivering excellent patient care. Due to this being a sole nurse role we are ideally looking for you to be a minimum of 2 years qualified.

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
