We’re committed to helping our customers protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of their employees, pupils, and service users. As our newHealth, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading our schools’ traded services, managing a team of professional advisors and engineers, and driving service excellence.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead and Inspire:Manage and develop a team of Health & Safety Advisors and Design & Technology Engineers, ensuring a high-quality, customer-focused service.
* Provide Expert Advice:Support senior leaders with professional, ethical guidance on health, safety, and wellbeing, including during emergency incidents.
* Shape Policy:Develop and implement policies and tools that ensure compliance and support organisational goals.
* Build Partnerships:Work with key stakeholders including the NHS, HSE, DfE, and local resilience forums to share information and manage risk.
* Promote Learning:Design and deliver training to equip managers with the knowledge and skills they need.
* Drive Growth:Oversee the operational delivery of traded services, supporting income generation and customer retention.
What we’re looking for you to have:
* A degree and a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent), with Chartered IOSH membership.
* Proven leadership experience in managing professional teams and complex projects.
* Strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative approach.
* A clear understanding of public sector challenges and political awareness.
* A confident communicator who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
